If you haven’t already heard the fantastic news, Kingdom has been green-lit to be produced as an audiobook by Audion (formerly known as Spectrum) Media! You guys don’t even know, but it was such a struggle to get this book picked up for audio. The publishers were just turned off by the CNC scene, and after having a few deals fall through, I was convinced it wasn’t going to happen for Kingdom. But, my agent stayed optimistic and put in the work to get it done. I can’t wait to hear the audition voices and go through this process! Alina is coming to life!

Fair warning, the takeover is coming. Interview with a Sadist is well underway, and we’re about to start working on cover design this week, which means the synopsis is coming, and so are the pre-order links! I’m writing every single day, and things are going splendidly. The more I write, the more I realize I’m going to pull off the nearly impossible feat of following Kingdom with a book that’s just as good, if not better. The teasers will be epic, and the ARCs will be like handing out little grenades to everyone who reads it. Once you open the book … boom 💥 …and nothing will be the same afterwards. So buckle up, because this is where I cement my legacy as a king in the world of spicy romance 👑

So, who has read Babel by R.F. Kuang? It’s the book that’s getting most of my attention, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Is it good? Is it too slow? Is it too long? Or, do I love it? Am I really intrigued, or have I just come too far to turn back now? I honestly don’t know the answer to these questions, but I’m still reading. I’m also starting a novella called In the Cut, by Susanna Moore. I’m only a few pages in though, so I can’t judge this one until next month.
